Organic Bread

Bread is a very ancient food and was probably eaten on a stone in an oven. Around 3000 B.C. a closed oven allowed for leavened breads and yeast risen breads. Back then, sprouted grains were used to make bread. Sprouting reawakens the enzymes and creates more vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Sprouted bread is a good balance of protein, fat, fiber, carbohydrates and nutrients but there is more work to creating it. Once refined grains were available, that practice all but stopped. Now, however, sprouted grain breads are gaining attention again, as are ancient grains like millet.

Speciality Breads
Mountain Bread can be used for all kinds of sandwiches - you can roll it up with your favourite filling and is ideal for serving with all meals and dips. It tastes delicious just spread with butter, and toasts beautifully to give you great, crispy, toasted sandwiches. It even tastes good when baked or toasted and crumbled into milk to serve as a breakfast food. You can even use the bread as a lasagne base instead of pasta or for cannelloni, as well as for souvlaki and spring rolls.
